 Excellent Clubs for the money May 15, 2008

I love these clubs and several of my friends that play with me actually request at the beginning of the game if they can use one or the other if needed. It was an excellent deal for a beginner, but several of the people that borrow them aren't beginners and have tried to find the same deal on Amazon.

I'm a beginner. I got these and hit one of the local courses immediately. The only wedges I had previously was a PW and a SW. I left the 3 and 4 iron out of my bag and replaced them with the 52° GW and 60° LW. With the LW, I pitched-in a 30-40yd shot on the third hole that I played after getting this set. Great feel. Great accuracy. Great quality. Great price. Buy them!

Paint is wearing a little after 10 rounds, but they are for hitting the ball, not staring at and admiring. As far as performance, they work well. 60 degree is great for those short, below-the-green hits.

I took these bad boys to the golf course and these clubs are sweet. These now make my set of clubs complete (Gap 52, Sand 56, Lob 60). I also purchased a 64 degree seperately that is awesome. I took these to the "pay for" chipping area for a couple of hours and hit with 55%-60% accuracy. Not bad for a novice. The grips are soft and have a great feel. The heads are painted black and the finish will start to show some wear fairly quickly, but hey, if you play golf your clubs should show some wear on them. Good luck and HAVE FUN!

These wedges are great. I can't compare them to expensive ones, but I am a beginning golfer. These wedges are a great addition to any bag, especially if you only have a PW. Don't take all of them at once though, take them to the green or range and pick one or two of them to keep in your bag.
