5 out of 5 stars Go To Club   June 15, 2009

This club has become my "go to" club for any shot(except sand) within 30 yards of the green. It took me most of a year to get used to the feel and adjust to using the putting stroke from off the green but it was well worth the effort! I have holed from 20 yards off the green in the rough as well as putting the ball close enough for a tap in more times than I can remember. I've found the key is a little bit of wrist action to get the initial height on the stroke and let the 35* loft do the rest. Line it up like a putt, swing like a putt but get just a touch of wrist action makes it much more effective. I would recommend this club to any golfer looking for help around the greens. It sure changed my game! I no longer have to be afraid of trying to chip on only to have the ball shoot all the way over the green and into the rough or sand because I hit a bad shot. This makes these shots almost automatic.

5 out of 5 stars Stroke Saver Chipper   November 18, 2009

This chipper just works, has a good feel to it, easy to line up, build quality is better than expected. The head is heavy enough to pop the ball up out the rough around the green.

5 out of 5 stars So easy to hit!   January 25, 2010

I love this club and I've only taken it out to the range twice so far. It's so easy to get great contact with the ball that you don't have to use this just for chipping. It's great even from 70 yards out. Every shot is so straight it's unbelievable. It may take a while to dial in your distances though. I'm a pretty weak hitter (110 yard with a 9 iron) and can get this between 60-70 yards with 80% of my swing. Great club and you can't beat the price.

4 out of 5 stars takes some practice   July 16, 2009

I bought this club a few weeks ago because my short game was horrible. Ive played three rounds now with it and feel like Im starting to get the feel for the distance etc. It has definetly improved my chipping and confidence around the green... So it is effective but it will definetly take you some time work out the kinks

3 out of 5 stars Works, but Shaft quality is suspect...   January 26, 2010

The club is quite heavy and overall, the build quality appears to be solid. However, while attempting to remove the sticker glue from the shaft with an alcohol swab, the "chrome" finish on the shaft began to wipe off... Beware - this club may not be as durable as it appears - at least when it comes to the quality of the shaft. Luckily, it costs less than $20.

As for the performance of the club, it does what it advertises. Just know, that you can probably get the same results by using an 8 iron to chip from the ruff or just off the green as it has the sane loft as this chipper, and you already have the 8 iron in your bag...
